Anaesthetists

Dr Gayed is a specialist anaesthetist who graduated with a Bachelor of Science, Medicine and Surgery from the University of Queensland in 2015. He undertook his specialist training in Nepean Hospital, with a massive range of experience having done specialist training time at Blacktown, Westmead, Childrens Hospital at Westmead and Royal Prince Alfred Hospitals. He completed a mixed General and Simulation & Teaching fellowship at St George Public Hospital in 2025, and obtained Fellowship of the Australian & New Zealand College of Anaesthetists (FANZCA) in 2026.

Dr Gayed aims to provide a holistic and comfortable experience, ensuring patient safety and satisfaction are at the forefront of practice. He currently works at Nepean, Westmead and Blacktown public hospitals where he remains heavily involved in simulation and teaching of training doctors, and is accredited at St George and Westmead Private Hospitals with a newly expanding scope of private practice. His personal interests include active involvement in the Coptic community, resistance training, pickle ball and general banter with family and friends.
