Anaesthetists

Dr Traini is a specialist anaesthetist who graduated with an MBBS from the University of Sydney in 1996. He undertook his specialist training at Westmead Hospital, and achieved his Fellowship of the Australian & New Zealand College of Anaesthetists (FANZCA) in 2004. Dr Traini is currently accredited at Norwest Private Hospital, Nepean Private Hospital, Westmead Private Hospital, City West Day Surgery, Pennant Hills Day Surgery and Somerset Private Hospital. He is a member of the Australian and New Zealand College of Anaesthetists, the Australian Society of Anaesthetists and the Australian Medical Association. Current knowledge and skills are continually maintained by participation in the ANZCA Continuing Professional Development Program and regular attendance at conferences, seminars, workshops and lectures. His special interests in anaesthesia include obstetrics and gynaecology, ophthalmic surgery, maxillofacial and dental surgery, gastrointestinal endoscopic procedures, general surgery, laparoscopic and robotic surgery, and acute pain management including epidural pain relief. Other interests outside of medicine include home renovation, skiing and cycling.

 

My aim is to provide high quality and safe anaesthesia for you during your surgery and try to minimise the pain and discomfort as much as possible afterwards. If you have any questions or concerns, I’ll be happy to discuss them with you when we meet before your surgery.
